Yar has been playing acoustic guitar and singing with friends and fellow musicians starting in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and then in the Somerville / Cambridge area. Joining friends on stage and playing solo, covering songs and recently writing originals enjoying it all along the way. Early introduction to music listening was in the genres of: rock, punk rock, and heavy metal. Wishes he had the training and dedication for bluegrass guitar playing. Yar’s performance may include covers of: country, americana, indie, post-punk, outsider, and the occasional originals.
